About us
We are a friendly group of walkers who enjoy fresh air and scenic countryside, whilst among friends old and new. Our group members are of mixed ages and abilities and walks are usually 8 miles, with nothing too strenuous. Non-walkers are very welcome, enjoying trips to tearooms and sightseeing.
The coach leaves from Wood Street, near Ward Bros at Waterdale, Doncaster, at 8.00 am on the first Sunday of each month.
The cost is £10 per person. We have regular coffee breaks and stop for lunch which is followed by a Pub stop for toilets and refreshments. It is advisable to bring a packed lunch and drinks. Walking boots must be worn and appropriately dressed for the weather conditions.
You are welcome to join us even if you do not wish to walk as we always have a place of interest for our non-walkers.
