On Sunday the walk was very enjoyable, even though it was very cold and a bitter wind. We followed the river at first and then continued passed some of the nicest houses in Wetherby. The path took us through fields and woodland and to a very nice welcome stop at an old worldly pub. After lunch a sprinkling of snow added to the beauty whilst walking through a country park, and so back into Wetherby. We had time for coffee on returning to the town.I was surprised to find Wetherby was a much larger and nicer place than I had first thought.
